Parma 2007
My mom, brother Craig, and sister came to go to Parma with me. My sister also flew in with a package of fresh halibut which was tasty I have to say.
The mini Chico group of girls...its amazing that three of us live here now.
My mom's first cousin Rhonda and son they are from La Grande
On Saturday the wind was blowing fairly hard it consequently disturbed many hair do's, skirts were flying and the dust was getting in eyes but amongst all that the flag was beautiful and snapping wanting us to pay attention to it. It is quite amazing to see a huge flag totally flat against a blue sky so included a picture of it.

Nellie's 145# catch
My sister went halibut fishing with her boss for the lodge she has worked at for the past three summers. They went out fishing for meat to serve the clients this summer. Bill her boss took her last year and she caught the biggest fish which weighed in at 100 pounds. So this year he took her and of the four that went she again caught the biggest at 145 pounds. Very exciting!!!

May 12, 2007
On May 12, I got up early and flew to Medford, OR where my aunt and uncle picked me up and I arrived at by brother's wedding reception just in time...
My mom put on a great feast and did a superb job on the cake...
It was fun to see so many of the Siskiyou County folks and so many members of my family.

Good old country talk... this reminds me of the picture "been farming long?"
Was also fun to spend Mother's Day with my mom and siblings....all except Nellie who is in AK.

May 11, 2007
May 11, 2007 was a day that I have been working towards for many years. This was the day I was pinned. What does that mean? This means that I am no longer going to school!!!! Yay!! Of course with the profession I have chosen there is always something new to learn. This picture isn't that great but it me in a hug from one of my favorite professors of all time... (Joan C.)... So I, now with my Bachelor of Science in nursing will have a little more time for leisure activities, so don't be surprised if I call to come see if I can visit...

This is my good friend Lana who was at the pinning and afterwards we went out to eat with some of my nursing friends.

My weekend in Lincoln City!!!
Me an my sister - notice the wind blown effect
A lonely sea gull

The whole gang - there were 12 of us

The newlyweds!

My family!
Recently I drove to the beach to meet up with my mom's side of the family. We had a house on the beach and even though it was rainy and windy a great time was had by all. Angela did get sick towards the later part of the weekend then myself, my mom, and Aunt Sheryl all got the crud. This was no ordinary 3 day sniffle cold this was a week or more with a fever and we all lost work over it, not fun. Will hope to do this again without the joy of coming in contact with each others yucky germs. Since our family was all together and this doesn't happen too often we decided to take some pictures so here is probably the best of the few we took. Enjoy!

After New Year's
I worked Christmas and New Year's Day so missed some festivities. Lana and I went to Bend on January 1st to see Callie and Chad and we watched the Boise State game with Bob, Wendy, Chad and Callie.. Lana now thinks she could get into watching football but alas her husband told her that the game was one of the most exciting games in the history of football. So she probably won't be entertained by football like she was entertained by the Boise State/Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl. Anyway was great to spend time with so many great people.
Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving I flew home for the holiday I met my new cousin Autumn Shannon (She is Don and Coleen's 6th). I also met Darren's girlfriend Angela. Now Angela is my sister-in-law as they eloped in Tahoe on December 23. Was nice to see everyone. Was able to see both sides of the family Crawfords and Pierens. The picture of me and Julia is initiated by my Aunt Judy who thinks that Julia (who is John and Susan's 5th) is the image of me when I was little. I don't know though...

My view early Saturday morning

Here's the view that greated me Saturday morning after I got off work. Here in Eagle we are in the wind path (I'm sure there's a more technical term for that) of the hot air balloons that start in Boise. The thing is you have to be up early enough to see them. This was 7:30 am in the morning.
